Hospital Facilities

The main hospital building houses the main office, reception and waiting area. There is a dedicated operating theatre with two induction recovery rooms. There is now a dedicated standing surgery room with stocks, and a separate examination area with stocks. The imaging room is named in memory of Alastair Nelson and houses our scintigraphy suite and CR digital xray and overhead gantry mounted xray machine. There is also a fully equipped laboratory allowing immediate analysis of blood samples.  A new 4 slice CT unit was installed in 2010.

Outside there are hard/soft lunging areas, hard trot up areas and adequate parking for all types of Lorries. We have stabling for 15 horses and there are 6 turn out paddocks.
